2. 关键类群的花粉形态及其系统学意义、优势类群的花粉形态特征及其古生态学意义 (比如热带海岸带的红树科、海桑科,亚热带与热带山地优势群落壳斗科等)
3. 热带海岸带红树林的花粉记录、海面变化与环境演变;
4. 关键类群的植被历史与古生物地理(如红树林的海桑,红树科等)
5. 人文环境的考古孢粉学(栽培植物的花粉证据)
